This training will provide teachers at Rodriguez High School with tools and strategies to support all students, while teaching bell-to-bell on block schedule days. This session will focus on practical and research-based data that will help teachers understand how to pace and create equitable and engaging lessons structured for block schedule days. Teachers will be able to take away, as well as share strategies and methods for maximizing learning time during a block period. They will also be able to analyze lessons to determine the best use of instructional time.

NCI is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program’s proven strategies give education the skill to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behavior. This training includes in-person hands-on training to practice and demonstrate mastery of restrictive (physical) interventions. Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable attire.



Please Note: Para Educators are given priority in this course due to job requirements. All non-paraprofessional staff may be removed from this list due to necessity.
