NCI is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training.  With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program’s proven strategies give education the skill to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behavior.

Please note: If full certification is desired, a hands on training to practice and demonstrate mastery of restrictive (physical) interventions will be needed upon returning from distance learning. During the physical interventions portion, please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable attire.

Prior to training, participants will need to complete a two-hour online module, and pick up NCI workbook from Special Education in the District Office. A link and code will be provided by Special Education to complete the online module.
